Our principal objective is the promotion of education of young people within the areas of benefit.  Particular consideration is given to activities that enrich the curriculum of schools, such as music, sports, science, literacy, numeracy or arts activities.  School day trips are considered but we will only assist with the cost of coaches where trips cannot reasonably be undertaken by public transport.  We will also consider assisting with the costs of residential trips. 

The Foundation is a Church of England charity and depends on its effectiveness on a link between the school/organisation and the local Church of England parish.  Please note that grants are not awarded for religious projects, but for educational projects, and applications are warmly accepted from all schools/organisations within the areas of benefit.
